DeKUT VC Prof. Peter Muchiri visits India Institute of Technology (IIT)

The Vice-Chancellor DeKUT, Prof. Eng. Peter Muchiri, the CEO of the National Research Fund, Prof. Dickson Andala, Vice Chancellor Riara University Prof. Robert Gateru, a Representative of Kenya Innovation Agency, and a Team from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) of the British High Commission, led by Mr. Fran Davies and Jordan Kyongo, in the visit to India Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai. The visit was to establish collaborations on incubation, innovation, and startup enhancement in African Universities.

DeKUT, with support from the British High Commissionand the Kenya Innovation Agency (KENIA), will collaborate with a consortium of Universities from the United Kingdom, India Institute of Technology (IIT), and other Common Wealth Countries to enhance their entrepreneurial ecosystems, promote commercialization of research outputs, and establish Startup Companies. It is in recognition of DeKUT working towards building a vibrant innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem in the University.
